What sad news today to hear of the passing of a musical pioneer and legend at such a young age. The Beastie Boys have always held a special place in my music-loving heart for remaining true to their fun-loving spirits instead of sliding into darker lyrical territory. Cancer is heartbreaking and evil, and my thoughts go out to his loved ones.
